Hey Yall, Today is the day to talk about the Atonement, I've decided. In our Elder's Quorom in our ward, we talked about the Atonement not only in our own lives, but in the lives of those around us. A main topic of Discussion was how ''Unfair'' somethings seem, such as the shooting in Connecticut, getting a ticket on a scooter or getting ripped off in your workplace. We discussed that the Atonement was carried out in order to cover all of these things that seem ''unfair.'' I've often thought about the atonement and the significance of it. Apostles and Prophets have said that the Atonement of Jesus Christ (including his suffering in Gethsemane, death on the Cross and resurrection) is the most complex and least understood Doctrine of the Gospel.
