Dear Readers,
Ever heard that old saying, "Misery loves company"? Well, recently I've begun to understand why. Think of something that has had you down for days on end. It could be the loss of a loved one, stress about an issue at work or even just a fatigue that makes you depressed. Now think back to how people around you acted during that down time. Does it irritate you? It seems logical to me that misery loves company because people love to ask about what's bringing people down. When a person is upset or sad, or even seems like it, people have to ask. I question why they are so curious, but that's none of my business. Just my thought for the day, misery loves company because people only ask about you if there is misery. Misery doesn't love company, it just happens to get it more often than anything else.
