Dear Readers,
A realization has made itself known over the past couple of weeks. Do you ever just zone out during a class or during a group conversation because you simply don't feel like paying attention? I have a very large problem with this, so my mind wanders. I discovered a solution, however, during my institute class this week. I found myself gazing into nothingness followed by short, embarrassing moments of me not knowing what was being discussed. During one period, we had four different teachers selected by our instructor, and they all gave short summaries of the topics in the manual. Anyway, enough delay. I realized that by looking at the person who is talking, one not only looks like they're listening...one actually listens. There's something about a visual to go along with what you're hearing to make something more memorable.
