Dear Readers,
Today I've gained a slight appreciation for having the ability to call something your own. Living away from home, I have somethings around me and things I interact with every day that I can call my own. Take full advantage of having something to call yours. It's a nice feeling.
On to the main point of this entry: college life and my roommates. Today I had only one class, so I don't think I've had the entire experience of academic life yet. The class, entitled Physical Science 100, involved a lot of visual demonstration. Dr. Allred lightens up the classroom with very appropriate humor and BYU inside jokes. Needless to say, I don't think this class will provide any problem what-so-ever.
My roommates come from all over the place. Tyler originally lived in Park City, not far from us. I don't know much about him due to how little he comes around the apartment. He is most likely a very stand-up guy. Ryan used to be in a band and is an awesome guitar player. He practiced all afternoon and he sounds great. Corey makes the team in all sports. He started here at BYU a couple terms ago and now he's taking a couple of physical classes such as weight training and racquet ball. Christian comes from Texas and he prides himself in it. Isacc, my roommate, has a great personality. He loves to talk about anything and has amazing talent with pencils and markers. By that I mean he can draw like no one I've ever seen. He whipped out several cartoon foxes last night in about an hour and a half.
I'll write later this week about how college life is going. Tomorrow you may receive a serenade of poetry or some other form of literary enlightenment.
