Hey Yall,
Well, this week has been interesting to say the least. Elder Jose Garcia is my new companion, from Salvador. He has this cambio (transfer) and the next before he goes home. Hopefully we´ll both stay here in Millahue for his final and I can kill him! (Don´t worry, that´s just a mission term for a companion who goes home while you´re with him), He´s actually 24 because he worked for a couple of years before the mission. He´s super capo (boss?) and muy amable (very kind).
As for the work, it goes a little slow right now. Although, Rosa committed to Baptism...finally! Better yet, her brother seems interested in the church now. He was with us in one of our visits and he took a Book of Mormon to read it. He´s a marine, so we´re not sure how fast he´ll progress. His name is Erwin.
The animals here are really funny sometimes. we had a cat follow us for almost two blocks the other day while knocking doors. Elder Garcia almost killed it by dropping it on a fence with spikes, but it´s ok. we found a new friend. :)
We are now two gringos and two latinos in our house. Elder Tanner's new companion is Elder Valdivia, a Chileno. With the house being split in two, we made English prohibited. So, Elder Tanner and I are going to improve a lot. Just this one week has helped me a lot. We tell jokes, stories, show magic tricks, all in Spanish. I love it. ;)
That's about it for this week. One baptism scheduled and hopefully several others getting close including Marcelo and Cecilia, and a new family we found about a week and a Half ago.
Talk to y'all later!
