Hey yall,
This week has been a whopper. We got into our groove with the new cambios and now know our companions pretty well. Elder May left and now works in Talcahuano, and his replacement is Elder Brann. Elder Jeffrey Brann comes from England. He was born there and lives there now, but most of his life he has lived in Idaho. He's a good guy and is a master with a Rubix cube and flute. He uses the rubix cube to grab the attention of those dumb kids in the street who call us out. He pulls that out, starts putting into order and they automatically start paying attention while we explain how the cube is like our life and we need Jesus Christ to know how to put it in order between going to work, school and having a social life. It's really awesome.
As for the other cambios, Elder Camargo arrived Tuesday night to be Elder Gonzalez's companion. He is direct from the MTC in Santiago and is originally from Bogota Colombia. He's a good guy and has the body build of Curtis. They are working well together and we'll see how this cambio goes with them.
We had a miracle the other day while knocking doors. I don't remember if I ever mentioned a lady we met once who's niece lives in Utah. However, we knocked doors again the other day and ran into her again, just by chance. We had already had a nice conversation with her before and she let us in. We shared the message of the restoration with her and she seemed to like it. It was a miracle because I had completely forgotten about her because I didn't think she would progress if we taught her. So, we were humbled and now were going to share everything with her.
I received a nice surprise yesterday at Church. The Primary has been singing songs in Sacrament Meeting lately, and I played the piano for them(Well, I played some notes that made them feel comfortable). So yesterday, they wrote me thank you notes and I got a whole stack of them, one from Each kid. :) It made my day.
At last Royer is getting baptized! We went over to his house on Wednesday and let him see the baptismal interview questions. He decided to get baptized the 20th! Yay! We're beyond excited. :)
That's about it for this week. Cuidense y no se olviden de su buenÃsmo redentor!
