Hey y'all,
Well, it´s been a pretty good week. We've been working hard and we can see fruits here and there. Most of the stuff that happened this week is pretty dull and monotonous, so I´ll just skip to the good parts about Chopping wood again and doing it in rain. :) Not to mention the highlight for the week...
I´M BACK IN TEMUCO! Ha ha, it's pretty exciting. The time has rolled around for me to start renewing all my governmental documents, which includes a trip to Temuco. :) That´s where we are right now, living the good life. It was actually a pretty good day because I ran into 2 different people that I met while I was here a YEAR ago! One of them was the niece of a ward member and the other was a man that was baptized while Elder Gomez and I were in Millahue working in the same ward. We chatted for a while. It was a good time. We went all around downtown trying to figure out my government documents. What usually happens is the mission secretary sends a packet with information about the closest civil register or government buildings. The packet I received had the addresses for these buildings...in a city in the north half the mission- where I was never even close to. The addresses were in a city called Angol, that is basically the only zone I have no affiliation with whatsoever. Anyway, so we had a fun morning going around looking for everything. The miracle? We got it all done before lunch.
Back to the main point, it's a great feeling to be back in Temuco, even if it is only for the day. :) We walked the streets of Centro, where I had walked several times before. And, as luck would have it, Temuco is where I took out all my government ID the first time in my mission about a year ago. :)
The other highlight for the week is having a new district leader. Our zone in Victoria was 14 missionaries and two districts of missionaries. However, the sisters were emergency transferred up north, leaving one district with 4 missionaries and the other with 8. Therefore we switched them around a little bit and in the process Elder Thomas and I now work with Elder Quispe, a Peruvian. He´s a great district leader and really cares about the guys in our district. :)
That´s about it for this week. :) Have a great Christmas Season!
