Hey Y'all,
Now I'll tell you all about how my life was changed by the mere talk given by Elder Hallstrom in conference. It's excellent. :) As many of you will recall, he talked about being active in the church and being active in the Gospel. It hit me and changed my entire line of thinking that those two things are different. The Gospel is the plan of Salvation with all its commandments and covenants, while the church of Jesus Christ is the organization on earth that has the authority of God to administer said Gospel. It was an amazing talk. I hope you all loved it. :)
As for this week it was interesting because the assistants called us and said, "Elders, we've been fasting and we feel that there is one person in Curacautin that is going to accept a date to be baptized today." So, we started inviting everyone to be baptized. I mean, EVERYONE. At the end of the day, we talked with good ol' Sergio, who happens to be a habitual drinker. However, his answer was, "Why not?" So, we went to visit him and found that his family also has the desire to be baptized for the remission of sins and to enter into the Kingdom of Heaven. Fun times, right? :)
Keep reading your scriptures and praying every day. It's the key to being happy and understanding what we need to know and do to take care of our Eternal Life. :)
