Dear Reader,
I love my boss. It might be more accurate to say supervisor. Either way, he is an amazing man. Unfortunately, today was his last day at work with us in the Missionary Training Center. This week during the Mission Presidents' Seminar we have been looking upon today with joy and sadness as our loving Phil drew closer to his retirement.
Over the past few days, we decided to make a scrapbook for our boss as a goodbye present. We gathered all the pictures we had of our crew from the MTC and we each made a couple of pages of our favorite memories working at the MTC. We put it all together in about 72 hours. It was amazing! Tonight we presented it to him by luring him down to his office before he left (I was a big part in the 'luring him down') to give him the present. He loves each of us so much and we all love him.
Now we will be working with our new supervisor, Gayle. She is wonderful and knows her stuff. I look forward to a great summer working there with her and the missionaries.
