Say what you wanna say. Honestly, I wanna see you be brave!

Dear Reader, Man, have you ever had one of those days that you want to say something to someone so much but when the moment to say it came, you froze? Maybe that question doesn't make a lot of sense. Much like many of my blog posts, today is another day of word-vomiting what I think about a particular situation/subject. The subject today is being straight-forward with how you feel. For a couple weeks I missed something very important: in order to say how you feel, you have to figure out what you are feeling. That is what happened to me recently. There was a series of several instances where I was too busy trying to figure out how someone else was feeling and I forgot to address what my own feelings were. During a conversation about these emotions, a wrecking-ball came in and smacked me upside the head as if to say, "Dude, you haven't paid any attention to your side of this equation!" I was at a loss of what to say. After the conversation was over, I finally s

Just Dance!

Dear Reader, Some days I wonder why dancing is so popular among humans. I mean, why would someone want to put themselves in such uncomfortable positions and work so hard for pretty much nothing? She is awesome. Anyway, today I watched several rounds of dancing and discovered that many different emotions can be created from dancing. At one moment I thought, "There are no words to describe what that man and woman are depicting with their movements." In short, don't forget to dance. Dancing is pretty great. Dear Reader, Our Barbershop Choir, the Mountain West Voices, is getting ready for an international competition coming up in January! The song lyrics for today come from one of our contest pieces entitled, "Always." It is a love song directed to a young woman. The words describe how this man will love the girl for always, even after the spring has ended and to the end of time. It is a typical love sentiment, but the lyrics are not so typical. While listening to this song the other day, a conversation I had with a good friend of mine came to mind. She talked to me about how I should fix a few things in my life. I told her stubbornly that I want to change these things, but I don't know how. As much as I hate to admit it, there are several things that can be done to change my life. Actually, the majority of these changes are things everyone on earth can do to turn their life in the direction they should be heading. The part that I haven't been good about is doing the
