cambios again

This week was long. We´re having cambios tomorrow and Elder Arroyo is coming to be my companion. Elder Palmer is a zone leader in Temuco, so Elder Ahart and I are excited about that. :) For the first time in almost a about 6 months I´m going to have a companion with more than a year in the mission. It´s going to be a fun time to find lots of people who need the gospel in their lives. :)

Friends from Coronel

This week has been a little long, but it was great to go to a youth activity on Saturday. The missionaries in our zone sang in a choir for a multistake activity. Multi-stake here in chile is huge considering that some youth came up from Los Angeles and Lota. Those trips are like 2 hours. It was awesome to sing there and see over 600 youth participate with the missionary work. :) The highlight of the week was seeing all of the youth and their leaders from Coronel, the sector where I worked last year. Melissa, Nacho, Marcelo, Mauricio, Michelle, Rocio, Ingrid, Hno Amestica, the Navarette Family, etc...we had a good time at the activity on Saturday where we sang in the choir. It was so good to see them all again. :)

Casting out fear - it's how we build our faith

Hey Y'all, We're learning about casting out fear this week. There are some things that we haven't wanted to do because of fear about how other people would react, but we decided to do it anyway. Now, it didn't turn out perfectly, but we learned from our experiences and we're learning that it turned out much better than we thought. :) I've been thinking a lot about what it says in Alma 32 about faith. It really is a little seed. If planted, it WILL grow. We just need to take the first step of planting it. We won't all become redwoods that are 150 ft tall, but we will all grow bigger everyday if we cultivate our faith. :) Don't fear anything. Just do it.
"Set a good example and let them learn for themselves." Good advice, huh? Anyone in the world can apply it. :) Scouts, missionaries, relief society presidents, Young men, Young women, daughters, parents, brothers, dogs and Lemurs. OK, maybe not the animals, but the other ones can. :) Mara Luz got baptized this week in spite of all the trials we had in planning the baptism. It was a good day. :)

The Boys are Back

The highlight of the week was last night. Mara, the lady that is getting baptized this week, was found by my MTC companion, Elder Palmer, almost a year and a half ago. Last night, Elder Palmer and his companion had the unique chance to work with us in our area.I went with Elder Palmer to see her and she got really excited to see him. It was awesome just to work with Elder Palmer again, after almost 2 years of hardly seeing each other. He´s grown a lot, but we were just flowing with the spirit as we visited with Mara and getting her excited for her baptism. :)  We´re just having a grand old time here in Talcahuano. :)
