You've got that one thing

Dear Reader, Ok, I have no been very diligent in giving incredible insights or updates from my life recently. I know excuses are like armpits (everybody has a couple and they all stink), but I think the few updates I'll give today will give a good idea of why I have been very busy. There is reason #1. Ok, probably reasons #2-7, as well. We have been busy going on scavenger hunts, baking cookies, watching movies and going on adventures (She won't ever admit it, but she thought my scavenger hunt was pretty lame). Lauren and I have so much fun together. She may or may not kill me for posting the picture above and talking so much about her, but there has to be a full explanation for not having a lot of time. That time has been well-used, however.  The song title for today? Well, that comes from her. It's that one thing that is inexplicable when you love someone. That one thing is the perfect combination of the little things. As Alma says in the Book of Mormon, &qu

Do you want to build a snowman?

Dear Reader, Today's title comes from the recent Disney film, "Frozen." It was a GREAT show. The balance between comic relief and the story line created a very fluid exchange for the audience. There are a couple songs that perfectly illustrate two different important attributes of a good relationship: "Love is an open door" and "Fixer Upper." The first is an exchange between the two lovers talking about how open their relationship is, despite any craziness that there may be. The latter is sung by the family of the one of the lovers and tells the listener th

Baby, it's cold outside!

Dear Reader, Utah has been getting cold as of late. I think the high today was in the high teens. Oh well, we are surprisingly surviving pretty well here in our 6-man apartment. I haven't been writing much lately and I sincerely apologize for that. You see, there is this girl. She is pretty great. She keeps me pretty busy. Busy doing what? She keeps me busy thinking about her wonderful smile, introducing me to the many friends she has because of her loving personality and helping me improve myself. I like being occupied in activities like that. :) Also, I have been pretty busy adjusting to a new work schedule because I recently switched jobs. It was a sad parting from my coworkers at the Missionary Training Center a couple of weeks ago. Now I am getting settled in at a new job in BYU Broadcasting. Basically what you see on the website for BYU Radio is the product of what my coworker and I do. It is a fun job because we kind of get to delve into detective work. You see, there a
